Vocational Pathways

Vocational Pathways

We deliver to over three hundred secondary schools across New Zealand delivering short 1, 2 and 3 day courses in a range of industry fields including hospitality, retail, communications, leadership, media, security and much much more.

Vocational Pathways is a new way for students to achieve NCEA Level 2. With up to 70% of school leavers not going onto tertiary training the opportunity to gain valuable work focused learning is essential to this cohort of school leavers.

The Learning Place takes a lead role as a private training provider to introduce Vocational Pathways into schools nationally building on its success in delivering STAR and Gateway funded training for the last seven years.

We cover the majority of the six strands that represent industry through effective partnerships with ITOs and other training providers.

Delivery is a combination of on-line, correspondence or face to face. Ultimately the delivery model  meets the needs of students and school curriculums.

Not only are all student vocational fields different but all schools are different as well. We invite discussion with all schools on how we can meet your needs to build an effective model of delivery of Vocational Pathways into your school.

Call  to discuss how we can build a pathway for your school and students.
