1. Food Safety Basic - Unit Standard 167

Delivered in a fun and informative manner, Food Safety Basic explores the basic tenets of food safety in a commercial food business. In this course you will learn about a range of food safety practices including safe storage, personal hygiene, temperature controls and prevention of cross contamination.

The Food Safety Basic course covers Unit Standard 167, meeting the legal requirement for staff training under the Food Act (2014) and preparing learners for work in a commercial food business.

2. Food Safety Advanced - Unit Standard 168

Our advanced food safety course is ideal for those who have completed the basic training, and want to take on management and leadership roles in a commercial food environment. Content covers different forms of food contamination, HACCP plans and best practice methods. This course is delivered as a self-paced learning resource with a short tutorial and assessment.
